Nakiyana, born in 2012, is a bright and talented girl trapped in a body that won't cooperate. She can't speak or walk, and crawls to get around. Despite her challenges, Nakiyana has skills and potential waiting to be unleashed.

 

A Mother's Love

Nakiyana's mother, Nabatanzi Hasifah, cares for her daughter with love and dedication. She struggles to provide for her special needs, including:

- Special food to nourish her body

- Speech therapy to help her find her voice

- Education at a special needs school to unlock her potential

Meet Robinah

Robinah, born in 2017, can't talk or walk. She's never been to school. Her mom, Bena, loves her dearly but struggles to provide for her.

Halima, a small-scale farmer, can't afford the specialized care Rayan desperately needs. He requires:

- Physiotherapy to regain mobility

- Special education to reach his potential

- Speech therapy to find his voice

- Nutritious food to sustain his health

Aksam, born in 2016, is confined to a life on the ground / floor. Unable to walk or sit upright, he's trapped in a fragile body. He can't speak, and his health is precarious. His family struggles to provide for his basic needs.

 

A Family's Struggle

Aksam's family has no income source, making it next to impossible to afford:

- Special food (rice and bananas) to sustain his health

- An operation to repair his feet and give him mobility

- Access to education and a chance to reach his potential
